Next week's spelling words are: when, then, tell, get, men, let, getting, leg, presents, unless, wet, dress. The bonus words are: engine, spend, lettuce. Please make sure you are practicing these words with your child each night so they can do well on the spelling test on Friday.
Monday, October 31st we will be going to the Reid Park to enjoy nature and eat our lunches. Please make sure you send in the signed permission slip. No money is required and we do not need any parent volunteers. All the kids need is a sack lunch!!!
If you would like to send in snacks for a party in the afternoon on Monday, October 31 then please keep in mind we have 30 people including Mrs Fox.

Next week's spelling words are: story, stories, family, families, baby, babies, pony, ponies, bunny, bunnies, puppy, puppies. The bonus words are: hobby, hobbies, army, armies.
Harvest Fest will be held Friday, October 28 from 6-8pm. Tickets are on sale now at the front office. We need candy for the harvest fest so please buy a bag and send in with your child to school.
Reading log- your child will need to complete a reading log each week. Please make sure the reading log is completed in your child's handwriting and that he/she is turning it in each Friday with the homework packet.

The letters ce can spell the sound /s/: place. The letters se can spell the sound /s/ or the sound /z/: house, because. next week is a short week therefore; we will have no spelling test and no homework.
Report cards will be sent home with your child on Wednesday, October 12th. This is a half day with no lunch program or after school. School ends at 1130am. Please make sure you are on time to pick your child up from school.
Fall break- we will be closed for a short break on Thursday, October 13th and Friday, October 14. Enjoy the days off and we will see you back here on Monday, October 17th.

Next week's spelling words are: much, push, wash, catch, with, both, reach, inch, which, crash, pitch, ball. Yhe bonus words are: hopscotch, truth, month.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6TH is the 40th day of school. This is a very important funding day for our school. We need all kids to be at school and on time this day. We will be doing a special activity, watching a short video and having a special snack.
Report cards will be going home on Wednesday, October 12th. This will be a short day with no lunch or after school program. School ends at 11:30 AM. We will be closed on Thursday and Friday October 13 and October 14 for a short fall break.
