Hello~

Next week we have no school on Monday, April 5th. We will return to school on Tuesday, April 6th. This will be our last day off of school until May when the school year ends.

Next weeks spelling words: no, by, person, part, town, out, down, bark, very, about, some, you. The bonus words: through, would, favorite. These are all words that the children have been tested on before. This is a review. Please make sure to help your child be successful on this test by studying these words with him/her so they will be ready for their spelling test on Friday.

AIMS TESTING: we need all 2nd graders to be here on time the week on April 12-16, 2010. Please make sure your child has plenty of rest and a good breakfast before they come to school each morning.

Hi All-

Next week we will have no homework and no spelling test. Next week is a short week with no school Thursday, Friday or Monday. We will be off so the kids can be home to celebrate Easter with their families. I hope everyone has a nice Easter break. I will see everyone back at LPA on Tuesday, April 6th. This will be our last break before summer vacation.

we will be having testing the week of April 12th. 2nd graders do take a test but it is not the AIMS test. We are required to test the 2nd graders and so it is very important that your student be at school this week and on time. Please make sure they have plenty of rest that week and that they eat a healthy breakfast before they arrive at school. We will still be serving breakfast but it is a good idea to make sure their tummies are full!!!

Hello and welcome back! I hope everyone had a nice spring break. We are now in the 4th quarter of school. Please make sure that your child is here each day. The next 10 weeks goes quickly and we have a lot to learn before summer break!

Hello Families-

This week is a short week of school. Report cards will be handed out THIS Thursday, March 11, 2010. There is no lunch or after school program that day. Please make sure to pick your child up at 11:30 AM. Your help is greatly appreciated! We are off from school Friday, March 12 and Monday, March 15 for a short break. Enjoy the few days off.

Since this is a short week and the end of 3rd quarter, we will have no homework this week and no spelling test. Next week, we will have a spelling test on Friday, March 19th. The spelling words for next week are: learn, first, turn, hurt, her, were, heard, bird, girl, turtle, burn, person. Bonus words: church, hamburger, perfect. Please study these words with your child so they can be successful on the spelling test.

Hello Everyone!

Next week, we will have no homework and no spelling test. Report cards will be sent home on Thursday, March 11th. There is no lunch program or after school that day. School ends at 11:30 AM SHARP! Mark your calendars now!!!!

We will have no school on Friday, March 12th and Monday, March 15th. Enjoy the short spring break! We will see you back at LPA on Tuesday, March 16th to start the 4th and final quarter of the school year!

We still need a few items for our class. The kids REALLY REALLY need new crayons, glue sticks, epxo markers, and kleenex. If you can, please buy something and send it in to our class. Your help is greatly appreciated!
