Hello:

Next weeks spelling words are: over, after, under, other, people, little, ever, flower, another, apple, purple, table. The bonus words are: number, trouble, gentle. Please help your child study for the spelling test so they can do well on it!!!

May 12 will be field day. Your child may come to school with their bathing suits on with a shirt over their bathing suit. They need to bring a towel, water bottle, and have sunscreen on PRIOR to coming to school that day. We will be outside most of the morning and we do not want our kids to get burned!!! We also need oranges cut into quarters for the kids to eat! Please buy some, cut them up and send them in. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Just a reminder: the end of the school year is just around the corner. Please make sure your child is at school on time for the rest of the school year. We have a lot more to learn and it is important for your child to be at school everyday!

Next weeks spelling words are: don't, didn't, it's, that's, I'm, can't, isn't, wasn't, here's, there's, we're, they're. The bonus words are: I'd, would've, they'll. Please help your child study these words. Contractions are difficult for many children so practice!!!

We still need a few items for our class. We need glue sticks, crayons, food and bedding for peanut, markers, stickers, and index cards. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome Back...

I hope everyone had a nice holiday break and is ready for the end of the school year. Next week, we will be having aims testing. Please make sure your child has plenty of rest the night before and comes to school with a full tummy. We will be serving breakfast at school like we do everyday but it is good idea to make sure your child has extra food in their bodies on testing days.

Next weeks spelling words: airplane, myself, birthday, everything, something, outside, bathtub, playground, sunshine, everybody, sometimes, inside. The bonus words: spaceship, girlfriend, seashore. Please help your child with these words so they can be successful on their spelling test.

We still need expo markers, Kleenex, glue sticks, crayons, and food/bedding for Peanut.
