Hello!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season with their families and a healthy, happy New Year!!! I will see you all back at school on Monday, January 3 for the 2nd half of the school year.

The spelling words for the week of January 3rd: trip, run, stop, tripped, running, stopping, drop, hug, swim, dropped, hugged, swimming. The bonus words: brag, bragged, chop, chopped.

Next week we will have no spelling test and no homework packets. The children may have math, phonics and reading to complete on Monday and Tuesday only.

We will be having our holiday concert at Grace to the Nations on Wednesday, December 15th. We will be walking to Grace from LPA. We plan to leave after breakfast to start walking so we should be leaving around 8:45. We plan to start the concert around 9:15. It should last about an hour and then we will walk back to LPA. Please plan to walk with us or meet us at Grace. We have been practicing our song and we want you to hear us sing it!!!

Holiday party- your child may wear whatever he/she wants on Thursday, December 16th. We will be having a party in the afternoon. Please send in snacks to share.

Report cards: report cards will be going home on Friday, December 17th. School ends at 11:30 AM sharp. There is no lunch or after school program. Mark your calendars now so you are on time to get your child(ren).

Hello and welcome back to school after the long Thanksgiving break. I hope everyone had a nice holiday with their families. We only have 2 and half weeks until winter break and we have a lot to do!!!

We will be having a holiday concert at Grace to the Nations on Pima Rd. on Wednesday, December 15. Each class will sing a song on the stage. The time of the concert and what your child may wear will come as soon as I know the details of this exciting event!

Next week's spelling words are: want, look, call, wanted, looking, calling, pick, walk, watch, picked, walked, watching. The Bonus words are: punish, punished, borrow, borrowed. Please help your child study for the test they can be successful on their spelling test.

Report cards will be going home on Friday, December 17th. This is a half day of school with no lunch or after school program. School ends at 11:30 sharp!!! Mark your calendars now so you will be on time!
