Next week's spelling words are: out, about, our, found, now, down, mouse, round, sound, town, clown, how. The Bonus words are: mountain, shower, crowded. The vowel sound you hear in out can be spelled ou and ow: about, down. Please help your child study each week so he/she can be successful on their spelling test each week.
Dollar dress down day is Next Wednesday, March 2nd.
REPORT CARDS: we will be sending home report cards on Wednesday, March 16th. This is a short day with NO LUNCH AND NO AFTER SCHOOL! School ends at 11:30AM sharp! Mark your calendars now so you can be on time to get your child.
We are closed Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18 for spring break!!! Enjoy your days off! See you back at LPA on Monday, March 21st!

Hello!
Next week is a short week so we will have NO spelling test and NO homework.
Next week on Wednesday, February 23rd, we will be having grandparents day for all k-3rd grade students. We will be making two fun projects, listening to a rodeo story and having a B-B-Q cookout!!! Please tell grandparents so we can have a great turn out!
We will be closed on Thursday, February 24 and Friday, February 25 for Rodeo days. Enjoy the days off. See you back at LPA on Monday, February 28th.

Next week's spelling words are: very, some, you, their, every, give, before, would, favorite, really, through, whole. The bonus words are: February, interesting, remember. Please help your child study for their spelling test each week so they can do well!
Grandparents Day- Wednesday, February 23 from 9:30-11:30. We will be doing fun activities and eating a cookout lunch.
Rodeo Break- We will be closed on Thursday, February 24 and Friday, February 25. See you back at LPA on Monday, February 28th!

Hi all,
Next week's spelling words are: soon, too, food, new, grew, chew, moon, zoo, room, flew, knew, blew. The bonus words are: shampoo, classroom, newspaper. The vowel sound you hear in moon can be spelled oo and ew: too, new. Please help your child study each week so they can be successful on their spelling test each Friday!
We are going to the TCC this Monday February 7th. Please make sure your child has a sack lunch. Your child may wear jeans and a LPA shirt or regular dress code uniform. Please make sure your child is one time as we plan to leave shortly after 9AM.
Valentine's Day- we will be having a party in our class. Please send in snacks to share with the class. We need juice boxes, chips, veggies/dip, fruit, crackers/cheese etc. If your child would like to pass out Valentine day cards, I have listed all the kids names on the weekly letter. Please make sure your child brings one for everyone or for no one. It hurts many kids feelings when they do not receive a card and a friend has. Thanks for understanding!
