Next week's spelling words are: airplane, myself, birthday, everything, something, outside, bathtub, playground, sunshine, everybody, sometimes, inside. The bonus words are: spaceship, girlfriend, seashore. A compound word is made up of two other words. Keep all the letters when spelling compound words: every + thing = everything.

AIMS TESTING- we will be having tests the week of April 11-15. Please make sure your child is on time everyday. They need a good nights sleep and a good breakfast so they are ready for the tests!

Dollar dress down day is Wednesday, April 6th. Your child may dress however he/she wants as long as they pay me a dollar otherwise, they need to be in school uniform.

EASTER BREAK: we will be off Thursday, April 21, Friday, April 22 and Monday, April 25 for Easter break. Enjoy the holiday! See you back on Tuesday, April 26th!

Next week we will be going to the talent show to see the children and all their wonderful talents!!!

Spring picture day is Tuesday, March 29. You may dress your child in whatever you want as long as it in appropriate.....

This week is a short week with no homework and no spelling test. Report cards will be handed out on Wednesday, March 16. There is no lunch or after school on Wednesday, March 16. School ends at 11:30AM. Please be on time to get your child! Thanks!

Next week's spelling words are: learn, first, turn, hurt, her, were, heard, bird, girl, turtle, burn, person. The bonus words are: church, hamburger, perfect. Please help your child practice each night so they can do well on their spelling test each Friday.

Next week is a short week with no spelling test and no homework packets.

We will be reviewing how to code words and sight words in phonics. We will be reviewing multiplication facts and parallel and perpendicular lines in math.

Report cards will be handed out on Wednesday, March 16th. This is a half day with no lunch or after school program. School ends promptly at 11:30 AM.

We will be closed for a short spring break on Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18. See you back at LPA on Monday, March 21 to start the last quarter!

The spelling test will be Thursday instead of Friday since we are going on a field trip to the Zoo and park. All homework will also be due on Thursday!!!
