Hello-

Next week's spelling words are: don't, didn't, it's, that's, I'm, can't, isn't, wasn't, here's, there's, we're, they're. The bonus words are: I'd, would've, they'll. In contractions, an apostrophe (') takes the place of one or more letters: did + not= didn't.

Next week is testing week. The second graders test on Monday and Tuesday. Please make sure your child is on time to school.

Wednesday, we will be having a game day in our class. Your child may bring a game to share with the class. If your child does not want to share his/her game then please do not send a game into school. Your child may also bring legos or blocks to build with instead of a game!

Easter break- we will be closed Thursday, April 21, Friday, April 22 and Monday, April 25 for Easter break. Enjoy the days off. See you back at LPA on Tuesday, April 26!!!
