Hello and welcome back to school! I hope everyone had a nice holiday and is ready to start the new year!

Next week's spelling words are: was, going, always, a lot, next, also, until, upon, scared, lived, stayed, across. The bonus words are: hamster, January, square. Please help your child study so he/she can be successful on their spelling test!

The 100th day of school is Monday, January 24!!! It is a very important funding day and we need each child to be ON TIME AND AT SCHOOL this day. We will be having a dress down day, having a party and doing fun activities. Please make sure your child is here that day!!!

We are closed Monday, January 17 for MLK Jr day! enjoy the day off and we will see you again on Tuesday!

We will be going on a field trip to the TCC Music Hall on Monday, February 7th to see a play called bodyology where they learn how the body works! The tickets cost $7 a person. ALl chaperone's are being asked to drive their own child as transportation is tight. We are going with 4 other classes! The permission slips will be coming home so look for them and fill them out. Please send back to me no later than Next Friday January 14th!
